Anti-Jam Intelligence & Auto-Reverse The integrated PLC continuously monitors shaft load. When a particularly thick solid block, metal insert, or tramp object is encountered, the rotors instantly auto-reverse to eject it and automatically resume forward rotation. Heavy-Duty, Re-Sharpenable Blades Blades are precision-machined from high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel (D2/SKD-11 equivalent) and through-hardened for maximum toughness. Plastic pallets are relatively soft, so blade life is long — but when wear does occur, the thick cutting edges can be re-sharpened multiple times. The segmental bolt-on design allows fast rotation or replacement by one operator.

FAQ

Can the shredder handle a whole plastic pallet without pre-cutting? Yes. Our larger models (PLTSH-800 and above) are designed to accept standard 1200×1000mm and 48×40 inch plastic pallets directly, thanks to the wide chamber opening and powerful hydraulic ram. Some oversize pallets may require simple pre-cutting, which we can advise on.
What about metal inserts, nails, or RFID tags in pallets? The low-speed shearing action handles small metal inclusions without blade damage. Metal fragments are cut and discharged with the plastic chips. We recommend a downstream magnetic separator to cleanly extract metals, leaving pure plastic regrind.
Will the plastic melt or gum up the blades? No. The ultra-low rotor speed (12–25 rpm) generates negligible frictional heat. Plastic is sheared cold, producing clean-cut chips with no melted edges, no sticky residue, and no blocked screens.
