FAQ

Can this shredder destroy hard drives to a data-unrecoverable standard? Yes. With the appropriate screen size (10mm–20mm), hard drives are shredded into particles far smaller than the 20mm–25mm typically required by data protection standards for unrecoverable destruction. This process is recognized by many IT asset disposition (ITAD) certification schemes.
What about batteries — can they be shredded? No. Batteries, especially lithium-ion types, pose serious fire and explosion hazards. They must be removed before shredding. Our system can be integrated with upstream depopulation or battery removal stations to ensure safe feed.
