FAQ

Is a feed granulator the same as a feed pellet machine? Yes. In the agricultural industry, "feed granulator" and "feed pellet machine" refer to the same type of equipment. Our flat die granulator presses ground meal into hard, cylindrical granules ideal for both feeding and burning.

Can I make small pellets for my fish and large cubes for my cows on the same granulator? Absolutely. The die is quickly removable. Use a 2mm or 3mm die for fish and chicks, a 6mm die for pigs and sheep, and an 8mm or 12mm die for cattle. We supply a full die set if you raise multiple species.

What if I want to produce floating fish feed? This flat die granulator specializes in hard sinking feed (density ≥1.1 g/cm³), which is perfect for tilapia, catfish, and shrimp. For floating or slow-sinking extruded fish feed, ask about our twin-screw extruder line.

How do I produce biomass fuel pellets? Use dry sawdust, wood shavings, or straw with 10–15% moisture. Install a 6mm or 8mm die, and the granulator will produce dense, high-BTU fuel pellets. It works very well for wood waste recycling businesses.

Is maintenance complicated? Not at all. It mainly involves daily greasing of bearings and cleaning the die after use. The rollers and dies are replaceable wear parts that last 600–1,000 tons of output. We stock all spares and provide video troubleshooting support.
